How to auto-propagate changed text during review process?

If I have completed my translation, and I find out that one term which is repeated several times through the text, has been translated incorrectly, and I want to change it, how can I autopropagate the new translation through the rest of the text?

Thank you.

  • In principle it is the same as during the translation. You only should activate the option to overwrite matches - File -> Options - > Editor -> Auto-propagation. Make also sure, that "Auto-propagate from" "First segment in document" is selected.
When you then confirm a segment in review/sign-off mode, it should be auto-propagated into the repetitions.
As for the moment the first segment of an auto-propagated group is NOT marked as such, you can additionally use the Display filter for showing repetitions and make changes just on those first. This way you can make sure you covered all of them.
And of course if you do a review and run a QA check afterwards with detection of inconsistencies switched on, it will report, if any changes might possibly not have been auto-propagated.
