Could you please help me with the following problem. I am using Windows 10 / Studio 2011.

All of a sudden (or was it maybe linked with WinThruster which has been unintentionally installed on my computer....?)

I had that error when starting Studio:

Service 'Sdl.TranslationStudio.Api.ProjectManagement.IProjectManagementService' could not be started.


I tried restauring Windows (restore point 4 days before) but it didn't restore at all.

and the below solution seems to be appropriate? because I don't have any Studio 2011 folder at the mentioned location.

Solution (for exception): No free disk space

Make sure Studio is able to generate folder with a few small files at location: %userprofile%\documents  (C:\Users\[USER_NAME]\Documents)

So I created C:\Users\userprofile\Documents\Studio 2011 but then I couldn't start Windows (error message: The User Profile Service service failed the logon. User profile cannot be loaded.)

In safe mode, I tried another Windows restore, but again, was useless.
Then computer restarted and don't know how it worked, but I managed to enter Windows.
I deleted the previously created C:\Users\userprofile\Documents\Studio 2011.
Restarted computer.
Got a new message "Call was cancelled by the message filter. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80010002 (RPC_E_CALL_CANCELED)".
Uninstalled Studio.
Reinstalled Studio.

Windows Vista/7/8/10:

1. C:\Users\[User_Name]\AppData\Local\SDL: rename the SDL Trados Studio and ProjectApi folder
2. C:\Users\[User_Name]\AppData\Roaming\SDL: rename the SDL Trados Studio and ProjectApi folder
3. C:\Users\[User_Name]\Documents\Studio [VERSION]: rename the Studio [VERSION folder to Studio [VERSION]_Old

The problem is I don't have a Studio folder C:\Users\[User_Name]\Documents\Studio [VERSION].

Any suggestion? I am so stuck and I don't know what to try...!
