What is the difference between Repetitions and Cross-file Repetitions in the following analysis report run on Studio 2015 Professional on 4 files with similar content:

Report Cross-file Repetitions |
When this option is selected, the cross-file repetitions are counted. This counts segments that are duplicates of segments in a different file being analyzed in the same task. This option is selected by default. The number of repetitions (identical segments that occur more than once) in each file is counted by default in a separate repetitions count. |
The explanation is a little more clear here.
