Hello Glen,
Multiterm doesn't have predefined source or target languages. Any language defined in Multiterm can be source or target. In the language fields on the left high corner of the layout you will find two language tabs where you can select your search language which might be source or target. Between the two language tabs you find REVERSE. This command allows you to switch between the source and target you need actually.
