With the new Excel file filters there are options to exclude fields in a certain color.
Is there something similar for Word? It's ok if it's a bit hacky....
Does not have to be a color, but anything we could use inside Word to mark certain areas to be "untranslatable".
Sometime we just hide text, like suggested here:

But it kills the context for the translator, so it's not very nice.

Indeed... it was used with the old bilingual DOC files to hide the text. In fact your other options if you don't wish to use styles is just make the text "hidden" in Word and then use the option in Studio to hide hidden text. Same effect as using a style.
