I have been searching for how to remove/exclude "Contents" at the top of every single indd/idml file and "Index" from the bottom...of every single file.... please send help!

I cannot find where this text is coming from within the idml/indd file.

Its something pulling from Indd to SDL. And while it only adds two words this can quickly add up! Right now I have 30 business cards that should be at 70 words total but comes to 130 (because those two words, 30 times comes to an extra 60 words!!!!!!!).

Typically we just ignore them, or let the TM auto place the match. BUT today, DTP used a file that had already been translated and converted this into the source file. Meaning this extra text (that I cannot access in the Indd file) has already been translated. AND we're going to a different language then what was translated last time. So our Spanish translator is going to see a Vietamise translation of "Contents" and "Index" in their SDLXLIFF file... Plus the translation is now counting as 5 words instead of 2.....its maddening.

I've messed with the settings to to try to get rid of this text in Studio (2017) and I can't figure it out.

Has anyone ever found a way to edit this text in the INDD/IDML file? Or is there a way to make SDL ignore it? I don't want to have to open 5 target SDLXLIFF files to lock these two segments and re-analyze them for a real word count.
