Trados Studio 2017 - JSON parser customization - JSON Paths?

Question

Hello, 
 I am trying to parse JSON file in Tradio Studio 2017 but JSON files from customer contain a lot of non-translatable content. How do you add "JSON Paths" to JSON file type settings so that only certain content gets extracted? 
 Pseudo translated JSON file with "_" below. The content I am looking to exclude is values for "ProductId", "Brand", "Class", "Crop System", "Primary Variety Name", etc. Pretty much everything in this example. { "digital-marketing-product": [ { "PutRequest": { "Item": { "ProductId": "_WB1035CL_", "Brand": "_Westbred_", "Class": "_UNITED STATES_", "Crop System": "_HR, DR_", "Primary Variety Name": "_WB-1035CL+_", "Adaptation": "_NWR_", "Herbicide tolerance": "_CLP_", "Emergence": "_1_", "Maturity": "_E_", "Planting Rate": "_M_", "Trait": "", "Type": "_A_",

Hi Xiang Li 
 I am using built-in JSON parser, not app store plugin. The below setting extract all values with name "string". In your case, you can use ..text or $..text to extract all values with name "text".

 Maybe try the filetype here: 
 http://appstore.sdl.com/app/file-type-definition-for-json/561/ 
 It's far more intuitive than the built in JSON filter. "Extract" all your rules and then remove the stuff you don't want to see extracted. So here I just removed the specific ones you mentioned (I ignored the etc. part!): 
 
 This then extracts just this:

As Evzen mentioned there is no capability to use a variable value as a length check in any other filetype than XML using XPath, and also the Bilingual Excel filetype. You can use the standard QA length check but this is only helpful if your requirements are static.
