Define Import segmentation rules

Question

I have a JSON file and want to import into studio 2017 with PARAGRAPH segmentation rules. But I can't find out how to do this. My TM is set to paragraph rules (but when you create a new project you only add the TM after selecting the file). I have tried adding the TM then going back to import the file but this doesn't work. Can anyone advise, how do I define the import segmentation rule on the file?

The segmentation from the TM takes effect even though you add it after the file. However, worth checking that the JSON file is not already segmenting on paragraph. The one we looked at a few days ago for example already has every segment as a paragraph unit so it won't get any better than that.
