The source appears to be a DOCX so if this happens then either the DOCX has something unusual about it or there is a problem with the filetype in Studio. DOCX files should support being able to add all the formatting whether they are in the source segment or not. I'd be interested to see a DOCX file that behaves this way for you?
Thanks

The manager who informed me about this problem has Trados 2014 and the following massage prompted while opening package:
I think this is problem with file type definition. The old Trados does not complies with new Microsoft Word. I recommeded him to remove 2014 and install 2015 SR2 at least, because SR2 can be supplied with new file type definitions. This is th cause I think why the Fomatting section is inactive.
