projects with two target languages - TM offers the recent translation in the first language

Question

Hi, 
 
 As a multilingual translator I sometimes receive files which have to be translated into two languages. So, I create a project with these two languages , let's say, I have a German source file and I need to translate it into English and into French. 
 I select the two target languages, I upload the source file, I create the project and I start translating into one language, let's say German. 
 Once finished, I click on finalize and create the German target files. Then I start translating the file into the next language, let's say French. However, the TM offers me the translation in German which I've just done and does not suggest a French translation. 
 I hope that you understand what I mean, it's a little bit complicated. 
 Is there somebody who could kindly let me know what I'm doing wrong.

Hi Lissy Wei , 
 
Did you add your Translation Memory using AnyTM? If you did then the Translation Memory used for German would also get used for the French. If you needed to use AnyTM for your German Translation Memory then disable it when you start work on the French translation so it doesn't return any results.

Hello Lissy Wei ,

It's ok to add both TMs. But I asked if you specifically used "AnyTM" when you added it or did you use "File-Based TM"?

To disable a TM go to the same place you went to check the update box in your earlier question and just uncheck the box on the left so the TM is not active. But make sure you do this in your Project Settings and not in File -> Options.

The most important think to know is what type of TM did you select in the first place as it should not be necessary to uncheck anything if you selected "File-based TM".
