Trados 2017 - failed to save report in xlsx

Hi!

After upgrading to Trados Freelance 2017 I can not export analysis reports in Excel formats. The error is Failed to Save Report.

I'm using the latest 2016 Office (Office 365) and the latest SDL Trados Studio 2017 Freelance. The error file is attached.

  • Hi, I might have the solution - it just worked with the help from several of you in here.

I use Office 2016 and SDL Studio 2017 freelance.
I have encountered the problem so many times and never found any signs of system in when it happened and when not. It seemed as if Studio had a personality of its own...

Now I checked several earlier projects, even projects where I had saved the analysis in Excel file - now all of them could only be saved as XML, MHT or HTML now.

    So trying this:
    1) Closing the Excel file I had opened
    2) Restarting Studio (annoying, but no big deal if it works).

It worked worked again. So thanks a lot for the inspiration.
