Trados Studio 2017 shows contents of Excel files even if they are hidden

Hi everybody,

 

this is the first time I write something in this forum, so thanks in advance!

I've just upgraded to Studio 2017

I have an xlsx file with many columns and rows that don't have to be translated. I hid those columns and rows but the are processed by Trados anyway and appear in the editor. I checked the settings of the Excel processors but they look fine (see screenshots. They are in italian)

I also tried to use the "color" filter, by setting that all the purple text should not be processed, but again nothing changed. It looks like those options simply don't work.

It looks like a bug, but maybe there are some settings that I need to check.

  • Please make sure, the settings are so in the template you are using to create the project with your Excel file. This settings MUST be checked BEFORE you add and process the file. Changing them afterwards will have no effect.
