HELP!

Hi, I'm working on Trados Studio2014 and when I reached the last few segments, I discovered an issue in the ST , i.e.the last few segments aren't in correct order as it should be, because of the word file itself that I've imported at the beginning is having this issue.
Is there a way to rectify this issue? I mean if I go to the imported file (ST) ,which is a 2003 Word document, and make changes would this affect my work progress .I've almost done 87% of the project and I can't take risk of re do it again as the deadline is soon.  ):

  • Hello Sultan,

If you have to provide them with the TM then I still don't see the problem. A TM contents doesn't necessarily match the order of the file anyway. If you didn't translate it in order then the TM won't be in order either.

If you have to provide a bilingual file then this is a different matter, and if this is what your client expects then he should also be reasonable about giving you time to re-translate the amended source as this is unlikely to be your fault. So why don't you just create a new project with your new source file and then pre-translate it from your TM? Won't take long to be back to where you were. probably a minute or two.

    Regards
