Trados 2017 projects "Forget" files

Question

My Trados 2017 projects routinely "Forget" about files that it is working on. I will have for example a project with 5 files, bu when I open the program the next day, it will show that there are only four files. The folder containing the files however will still have all five files. Is there a solution?

Studio doesn't just forget files, at least I hope it doesn't or this is something completely new! I think we need to think around what you might be doing. Are you adding the files to an existing project and not preparing all of them perhaps, so you see them in the source language view but not the target language? Can you provide the steps you are going through?
