Error: "Mismatch in unique ID"

Question

Hello, I have a problem with saving target from a trados 2011 package. When I try to save it, the program gives an error "Mismatch in unique ID".

Thanks for posting this into here... looks like nobody has any ideas! Possibly as 2011 is quite old and getting errors is no surprise :-( 
 
Did you get a chance to look at correcting the translation in the sdlxliff I sent you for 2017? I think it would still be worth attempting that as a solution. I also tried to see if I could do something in some our competitors tools but not a single one was able to open the file for translation at all... it's just too large. So we may be stuck with two options: 
 
1. See if we can get a target out with the 2017 version, or 
2. Break the source down into more reasonably sized files and put them together again afterwards

it may have nothing to do with the fact that you're using Studio 2011. I am using Studio 2015 and had the same problem today. What worked for me was to save the original file as a Word 97-2003 document (instead of a .docx file) and to restart the translation process, i.e., have Trados insert all the matches I translated yesterday. After that, Trados created the target file without any problems.
