It's complex enough that if you don't stay in the conversation on a daily basis, you lose some of the logic.

I got a new project, I decided it made sense to translate it with paragraph segmentation. I knew I'd seen where to set that.

But "translate single document" gave me no such option. I tried to do it by creating a new one-document project - still no setting.

Then I found it's in the TM creation window. And I can't remember why, but now it makes no sense to me. It's not the TM I want to segment, after all - it's the document I want to translate, sending the TUs to a TM. 

PS - I put in a TM with that setting, but it didn't make the document segment by paragraph. In fact, I can't figure out why it would segment how it did at all - I can't see any logic to it. Sentence breaks were within a single TU, while the actual breaks seemed to occur between words with nothing that would have prompted it. But that's another discussion, I suppose.

So I want to know: 1.) how do I choose, on a doc by doc basis, whether I want sentence or paragraph segmentation? And 2.) how do I actually make that segmentation apply?
