A connection to SDL Multi Term Server could not be established - The root element is missing.

Question

Hello,
I've been facing some connection issues with the TB recently. When I try to link the project to the TB, after logging in, a window pops up showing a "root missing" error, thus preventing me from connecting to the TB. This is the exact message: "A connection to SDL Multiterm Server emeags.sdlgroupshare.com could not be established. Root element missing" Why that? I checked all settings and they are ok.

Trados version 2014.

Hi Nadia Mari , 
 
I think you could try a couple of things. First of all make sure you have the latest versions of both Studio and Multiterm. These should be: 
 
SDL Trados Studio 2014 SP2 - 11.2.4435.12 
SDL MultiTerm 2014 SP2 - 11.2.1379.0 
 
If you do then next can you do a MultiTerm reset? Rename this folder (just add _old to the end or something, it's not important what you rename it to) and restart MultiTerm: 
 
c:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL MultiTerm\MultiTerm11
