MS Word Spell Check in Studio 2017

Hello SDL Community,

I am using Studio 2017 and I am having difficulty getting the Check Spelling to work. I mostly use EN (United States) to SP (United States), but the Check Spelling is grayed out (Language not Supported). Please help!

    Please correct me if i'm wrong, but I believe you are using the Professional version, therefore we can eliminate incorrect language selection during the installation phase.

    Do you have MS Word installed? and if so, which version?

    If for example you have a 'click to run' version such as 365 then you wont be able to use MS Spell Checker (as the necessary components are missing in MS Office 365).

    You can however change the options in Studio and run Hunspell (dictionaries are loaded when you install Studio)

    (FILE/OPTIONS/EDITOR/SPELLING)

    I have the same problems. The spell checker was working until last week or so. Now it stopped working – as well as the grammar check. I get the messahe language not supported as well, but I only have Brazilian Portuguese, no other variant.

    I am running a licensed version of Office 365 and, as I said, it was working. I installed it in March, I think, and everything was running well. Hunspell is not good for Brazilian Portuguese as it is very limited, so I want to work with the Office spellchecker.
