Alignment problem (nested segments)

Hi 
 
 I had a problem when I tried to align two word documents . The error message says : nested segments - unexpected . 
 
 What could that mean ?

Hi Sarah, 
 
In that case can you send me the word files you have problems with? I recreated the word files from the sdlxliff files you were trying to align in the other thread and these aligned just fine.
