Analysis results difference between 2015 and 2017

 Hi,

I have a file for which I have weird analysis results with Studio 2017.

I analyzed both the docx and the file saved in “doc”

 Here are the results:

 Studio 2015 – docx

2111 words/602 rep  Total 2713

Studio 2017 – docx

2115 words/1352 rep  Total: 3464

Studio 2015 – doc

2109 words/582 rep  Total: 2691

Studio 2017 – doc

2109 words/582 rep  Total: 2691

Word:

2764 words

Trados 2007

2225 words/434 rep  Total: 2659

Analyze app Docx

2113 words/1299 rep  Total: 3467

Analyse app Doc

2107 words/529 rep  Total: 2691

It seems there is a problem with Docx and Studio 2017 as you can see on the results.

Thanks,

Olivier Noir

  • There are not so much problems here , rather differences in how these different filetypes are parsed and in how the TM segmentation engine works between 2015 and 2017. I'll try and take a better look at your file over the weekend and see if I can explain where some of the differences are coming from.

The information you have provided in here probably won't help anyone to explain the reasons with any certainty because they would need your source file to be able to provide an analysis of where things are being handled differently.
