Studio 2017 - Unable to access "Options" or open a file (other than sdlxliff)

Hello!

I am having the following issue when I try to open/drop a file of any supported format, other than sdlxliff, or when I try to access "Options".

The error message reads:  "The specified URI is not a valid server-based translation memory URI."

Please see below the screenshot:

 

I installed the Windows 10 Creators Update this week. I don't know if this may have anything to do with it.

Any help?

  • Several steps to take one by one, then check after each step, until it works again. It will be necessary to close and restart Studio from the second step on:
    Reset window layout, try again.
    Rename the SDL Studio folder in AppData (refer to gateway.sdl.com/.../communityknowledge
    Go to File -> Setup -> Manage User Profiles and reset the profile.
    Repeat resetting window layout.
    Rename the Projects.xml in your Documents -> Studio 20nn folder to Projects.xm_

    If all this won't help, I would try to contact SDL via the website I posted above.
