SDL Trados Studio: How can I change the target language?

Question

I just started using Studio 2017. When I try to set the target language, it only shows limited language options to choose from, For example, English(in many countries) and a few more language only. Anybody to help me? Thanks.

What languages did you select when you installed the product? With the Freelance version you can select up to 5 languages - just the main ones. So if you select en(GB), fr(FR), de(DE), it(IT) and zh(CN) then you would get all the variants for English, French, German, Italian and Chinese. 
 
If you didn't select enough then try carrying out a repair installation through the windows control panel, or reinstall the product, and this will give you the opportunity to select your languages again. 
 
The Professional version does not come with any language restrictions.

 Did you try going File -> Options -> Editor -> Languages? Then set the preferred Source and Target language.
