TMs Problem

Question

I have recently started working with SDL Trados 2017 and I have a problem with TMs. If the TM feeds automatically, why do I have to align the documents to get Fuzzy Matches? It doesn't really feed automaically in my case.

You should not have to align files to get your TM populated. Can you step by step, explain your workflow starting with how you create your project and get started. There are all kinds of things that could be the cause of your problem so knowing how you are working would be really helpful.
