It is possible to show whitespace characters in Trados.producthelp.sdl.com/.../Pref_EV_Show_Hide_Whitespace_Characters.htm
However, symbols are displayed in black and sometimes this is confusing when the target language has this character "・". Is it possible to change the color for the white space symbol?

No, this is not possible. If I look at the difference, I'm showing "space char space char space":
It is quite marked, but I can imagine it could be tricky, particularly when it's smaller. I tried playing around with the colours to see if I could change the font colour and not the space but I could not.
Perhaps you can log an idea and see whether it's a feature that others would like too?
