It's helpful to see the full error message because then we not only see the details that might be helpful, but we also see what version you are using, your operating system etc. These are always useful things to know even if you don't post the details of the error.
But based on your post alone I would do this.
1. Look in the project folder in the source file folder
2. You'll find a word file there because Studio converts the pdf to word first
3. Open the word file, clean it up (TransTools is good for this for example)
4. Translate the word file instead of the PDF
That may help.
