Enhancements to Studio Find & Replace feature

Hi,

We're interested to know what enhancements you would like to see with regard to the Studio Find & Replace feature.  We're going to be doing some work around this feature for a future release (nothing in the next few months!) and it would be useful to know what you might like to see.  We have a few ideas taken from feedback we see in the community and in Ideas but we wanted to ask without influencing anyone.

Please note this is not about bug fixing... we have many of these already in the bucket for resolution, so it's only new functionality that you think should be added to improve the feature for you.

Thank you

Paul

  • Hi Paul
Search in tags would be my first thought.
Search both in source and target - what now the enhanced search in files can do, but put into the "normal" search with CTRL+H.
Possibility to type non-breaking space (and maybe other typical characters) via the usual shortcut (in that very case CTRL+SHIFT+Space) instead of alt codes.
    Best regards, Jerzy
