Trados Studio 2014

My problem with Studio 2014: Next row no longer activated by shortcut CTRL+Enter or CTRL+Alt+F.  Why?  It has worked for several years before.

(I have selected Enable Implicit Row activation)

  • Hi Karl-Erik,

I'm very glad the window layout reset solved the problem.

Running a Windows repair is quite easy, here's how you'd do it on a Windows 10 computer:

In the search line at bottom left of your Windows 10 screen, type 'Control panel'
Click on 'Control panel' when it appears above
It depends here which view Control panel is set to...
    - if Categories, click 'Programs'
    - if Small icons or Large icons, click 'Programs and features'
A list appears of all accessible programs that are installed on you computer
Scroll down to the version of SDL Studio you'd like to repair and highlight it
Either right-click on that line and select 'Repair'
Or you can highlight and select 'Repair' from the header at the top
Allow the process to run, clicking 'yes' or whatever as appropriate.

You can do the same with MultiTerm and its components.

The above process can be used on other programs too. Some programs have their own repair facility, Microsoft Office for example.

The Repair process is useful especially after there's been a big software update, because changes made to a piece of software can inadvertently affect how other software functions. I usually repair Studio after a big Windows update, if I think of it.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend
    Ali :)
