Hi!

I am trying to put a PDF document into Trados 2017 SR1 and it is coming up as 'this file is not supported'. What am I doing wrong as, in file types, PDF files are listed?

Hi Paul,

Thanks for your offer to help but I can't email it.

I am in the end stages with project now so it's okay anyway.

What I did was put PDF on desktop, right click and open in Word. I then edited it and then put it in Trados and edited it afterwards. Very time consuming but it has worked.

ok- would have been interesting to see what the problem was. But handling a cleaned up Word version is often the preferred route anyway. You might also like to note InFix which provides a smart way of handling some PDF files, especially as the target is a PDF and layout can be retained more easily:
