Studio 2017 SR1

Question

I installed it and now it is very very very slow. So I can't work with it. How is it possible to go back to Studio 2017 witchout SR1 ?

Just uninstall (control panel -> SDL Trados Studio 2017 SR1 - remove suite of products) and then install the previous version from your installer.

Can you tell us what is so slow? There may be options available due to some of the new features that you can use to improve your performance. What are you doing when you find performance so slow?

The first time or every time? Studio tends to always take a long time for the first segment but then it's faster. 
 
You could also try, if you have not updated your TMs, turning off "Lookahead" and "Fuzzy Match Repairs". 
 
File -> Options -> Editor -> Automation -> Enable LookAhead 
Project Settings -> Language Pairs -> All Language Pairs -> Match Repair 
 
It might also be worth looking at your Anti-Virus. The update might have triggered an unwanted response from your Anti-Virus. Try disabling it for a short while and see if this helps. Then at least you'll know where to look for the resolution.
