After a power failure, I can’t open the XLIFF file I was working on in Trados 2017

Hello, 
 
 After a power failure, I can't open the XLIFF file I was working on in Trados 2017. I get this error message: 
 
 '.', hexadecimal value 0x00, is an invalid character. Line 3877, position 33041 
 
 Is there a way to solve this problem?

I'm afraid no. 
The SDLXLIFF file has been physically damaged. So either you can open the SDLXLIFF in Notepad++ or similar, go to the reported place and really find the problem there (what I doubt) or you use your backup copy and apply the missing translations from TM.
