Cursor jumping to the left in SDL Trados studio 2015 SR 3

Question

Whenever I confirm a segment, go the next one and type the first letter, the cursor jumps to the left of this letter instead of allowing me to continue to type. It is a nuisance. Can anyone help me out, please?

This is indeed more than strange. Never seen Studio behave that way. 
Please go to View tab and "Reset window layout". 
If that does not help, follow the steps here to reset your Studio: gateway.sdl.com/.../communityknowledge

 Follow the instructions in the following Help page: 
 Repairing your installation of Studio 
 You will see at the end of the list of suggestions, that you can either contact support via a support contract or, if you don't have one, via Installation support where you need to tick 'Installation' under 'Case Type' and give your email address accurately so they can contact you. 
 I'm sure that you will find a solution there.
