Hi Miguel,
I stumbled across your question because I was having the exact same issue. I resolved it by using the PowerPoint 2007-2013 file type definition rather than the 2007-2016 definition, which had been used during the failed attempt at creating a project.

Hi Dave,

I have a pptx file that gives me the same problem, and wanted to try this approach, but I have problem. How do you get the process to use one file type rather than the other? The explanation in the help file of "Why the order of file types is important", was not very clarifying.
