error message preventing me from opening SDL Trados Studio 2017

Hi,

This morning, when I tried to open SDL Trados, it just sent me the following error message:

"System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException, mscorlib, Version=4.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=

detype of error: -2147023179"

I restarted my computer, tried once more. It gave me this message again. Then, about 5 minutes later, the software just opened normally. This was the very first time it did this! Can someone help me understand what this was and tell me if there is a way to prevent it from happening again?

The message could be generated by many things and seeing the full stack trace would be helpful. But if you are not getting the error now then this isn't going to be easy. If it happens again (and I hope it doesn't) then post the full error stack and then we may be able to identify where the error has come from:

Hi! I know the answer comes in late, but I wanted to thank you for the follow-up! Luckily, it didn't happen again! I'll keep the answer in mind though, should any other errors occur.
