Problems with Trados Studio 2017

Hi! I have recently bought the license for Trados Studio 2017 Freelance plus and I have already been encountering problems.
First, when the software opens, I cannot see the maximized window, that is, the program just stays minimized in the toolbar. I have found a way to solve it momentarily, though, but I hope it has a long-term solution.
Today I found another issue. I opened the software and when the loading window appeared, it stopped at "loading translation memory view" and an error window popped up stating "requested data file could not be located".
Can anyone help me? I really depend on this software for work. Thank you in advance.
