Trados Studio and APIs for the integration with other software

Dear all,

I have a technical question regarding our 2015 professional license and integration with other software.

We are negotiating with a new potential client who uses Sales Force Commerce Cloud (previously known as Demandware) for their e-shop.

The client wants an integration with our system as he doesn't want to exchange files.

Is there a way Trados connects to this kind of Saas platforms to fully automatize the text transfer? Maybe with Groupshare and an API/connector?

Where do I find documentation for this in case?

The best place to ask a question like this is in the Language Developer Forums, but I thought I'd share it here in case anyone else is looking. The Language Developer forums are here:

Generally you'll find information for developers here:

For the GS 2017 API it's currently split into two parts:

GroupShare Web API ( gs2017dev.sdl.com:41234/.../index ) : this includes the documentation for authentication, user management, project management and terminology management

TM Service API ( gs2017dev.sdl.com:41235/.../index ) : this includes the documentation for Translation Memory management

To provide an easy way to interact with the REST API above we have created the GroupShareKit which is a client library targeting .NET 4.6 and above. You can find this here ( www.nuget.org/.../ ). It currently supports GS2017:

GroupShare REST API Client Library for .NET ( github.com/.../groupsharekit.net )

You can also find a sample web application we've created using GroupShareKit. The source code of the application is available here ( github.com/.../GroupShareKit-Sample ).
