Error message when Opening Document in Studio

Recently when I try to open a source text word document in Studio by clicking 'Open document', I immediately receive an error message stating 'The file you are opening does not contain any bilingual segments'. I haven't had this message before but I am unable to proceed beyond this stage. I wouldn't expect the document to have any bilingual segments as it is the source file?

  • Hi,
This is because the document itself has the tw4winmark style inside it... even though you can't see it.  So go to the Word filetype settings and check the option to open files with tw4winmark style... then open the file again:

    Regards
