Blank spaces not detected (SDL Trados 2017)

Question

Dear all, 
 I have a 60-character limitation to deal with and I just realized that Trados 2017 is not counting the blank spaces as characters. This was fine before, is this an issue of the new version? I cannot seem to find a solution or a way to adjust this.

Hi Paul, Pepe, I just upgraded to 14.1.6329 and the segment character count appears to be working properly again.

We changed it in the update to be consistent with other views. But understand it needs to be fixed so we'll do that in an update.
