Filter for segments were source and target are identical

Question

Dear Community,

Is there a way to filter for segments in which source and target are identical? We would like to avoid adding segments with no translation value to our TMs, thus we would like to avoid segments such as "Berlin" or "------------------------------------". One workaround I found was to filter by segments with messages (Under "Segment Review") and that works fine as long as there aren't too many error types defined. Otherwise it is still quite a bit of work to locate all of those segments.

Hi Dave,
Not sure if this is possible with the filter settings but I just leave such segments in draft status and don't include draft segments when updating the TM. Does that work for you?

 Have you tried using this option in the Translation Memories View? 
 
 This will list all your duplicates page by page so you can edit/delete them.

Apologies, my bad! I see what you mean and there is not way to do this in the Translation memories View. So you need to effect a workaround, such as these. 
 
Export to TMX and then open the TMX file (or files if you need to split them up into bite sized chunks) and use the TMX filetype from the appstore to handle them in Studio. You can add your TM to the project for the TMX files so you can edit the TM as you work through the segments using the advanced display filter. 
 
Or maybe export to TMX and use a tool like Olifant, or Heartsome TMX Editor, to find these segments and edit them.
