'Save Target' as Issue

Recently (on Monday), I had to make an update on Excel (as suggested by Microsoft in order for the program to run smoothly). Since then I haven’t been able to make a project that works. I cannot save target or pretranslate cause the same issue happens to the new files too. The error I get is “Object reference not set to an instance of an object”

My Studio 2017 build number is 14.0.5889.5

Could you please help me with this as soon as possible ?

With no crystal ball at our disposal it will be quite hard to help.
From what you write I suppose the source file in question was an Excel file.
Before we do further guessing, please confirm:
- The processed file is Excel
- If you go to File -> Advanced save -> Save source as, this works properly

Yes this is indeed an excel file, but only files that have been save through Excel 2016 (with the latest update: version 1707, build number: 8326.2076). Save Source as doesn't work either.

Yes this is indeed an excel file, but only files that have been save through Excel 2016 (with the latest update: version 1707, build number: 8326.2076). Save Source as doesn't work either.

So then make sure you are using the Excel 2007-2016 file type, which is NOT selected by default.
