TM Import - Export issue

We found a bug in the TM panel. When opening multiple TMs at the same time we could not import files unless the TM was also selected on the list to the left (something that was never an issue in previous studio versions). I managed to figure this out yesterday and was able to update some TMs but then the same error showed up again later in the day in one of my colleagues PC’s even though she had selected the TM on the list too… So I don’t really know if my theory is full-proof.

The SDL Studio 17 build number is: 14.0.5889.5

But what is wrong with this? When you select a TM, you can import/export. Without having selected a TM you cannot tell, where to import to or which one is to be exported. TBH I do not understand where the problem is...

Also, that the buttons on the ribbon don't work unless the TM is selected on the list as well.

You cannot import or just need to select the TM prior to importing?

As I said above, at first we thought the issue occured only when we were not selecting the TM, but in the end it turns out we cannot import some of our files through Studio 17, only through Studio 2011, which is not available to the whole team.
