I have noticed something similar however, I do have entity conversion enabled but not for specific character sets like Added Latin 1/2 and yet, my output would still contain things like á

The only way that I could resolve this was to go into each individual entity in those two categories and uncheck each one individually. It seems this is broken. Unchecking Added Latin 1 should already do that.

I have the same problem, but I did not managed to solve it with the workaround. I still have accents shown as á (not á) although I activated entity conversion in the filetype, disabled every accented letter and then disabled the whole entity conversion again.

I don't think this has been resolved.  Patrik Mazanek might be able to assist with this.  In the new Multilingual XML and Excel filetypes we customised the entity writing window to get around this problem... I think a similar approach would be useful here too.

Thanks for the promt reply Paul. I kept trying and what did work for me this time is to disable Entity conversion in Embedded Content Processors > HTML 5 > Entities (instead of in File Types > XML > Entities)

I have the problem in a file type that is based on any xml. I tried all the above suggestions but the " still gets converted into " Any other tips?
