One of our users is experiencing difficulties updating a TM he recently upgraded using Studio 2017 SR1. The file-based TM is now about 2 GB large and resides on a NAS box where up to 15 people may be using it for look up simultaneously and about 4 people update it in the course of a day at various times. Of course, updating the file simultaneously would be a problem, but chances are small that this happens. I am actually wondering whether the Look Ahead function that will be running on up to 15 translator's computers could be disturbing the update one person tries to make because the file will basically be constantly in use by the Look Ahead function. Could this be the case? The user says the error is TranslationProviderThrewException which sounds very general to me.
