Studio 2017 SR 1 fails to access my local drive

Hi everyone,

I am using Studio 2017 SR 1 (build 14.1.6284.6). At the moment, I cannot create new projects, because Studio cannot access my local hard disk. Everytime I try to add a Word-Document to the new project, I receive the following error message:

I have already checked my firewall, that does not seem to cause the problem.
I have opened Studio as an administrator and received the same error message when creating a new project.
I have tried to change my user profile, but when creating the backup file, I get the same message that Studio cannot access my local drive.

Any ideas what else I may try?

Do not store projects or other files on C:
Partition your disk and use the new partition for documents.
And for the moment can you access the location? Can you open the file in Word? If yes, then make sure it is NOT opened in Word, before you try to use Studio on that file.

Hi Jerzy,
I normally have the files on a different partition, no need to worry. I just copied them to C: in the course of my different tests. But the error first occurred when I tried to access the files on my data partition (X:).
And yes, I can access the location and open the files. No files were opened when I tried to create the project.

The problem is that no path works at the moment, not X:, nor C:
The problem first occurred yesterday, before that, everything worked fine.

Unfortunately, I have tried that as well without success...

Another curious phenomenon: I can open older projects. But I cannot add files to existing projects.
