  • Hi

You seem to have two problems... at least you had two in total.

This one can be resolved by going to this location:

    C:\Users\[UserName]\AppData\Local\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\14.0.0.0

Then find and rename this file:

    TranslationMemoryRepository.xml

Rename it to TranslationMemoryRepository_old.xml for example.

But I reckon your reinstall probably sorted that out.

Studio is trying to go and get the latest update but something on your computer is preventing it from accessing the site.  You should be able to run the program without this.

If you want to manually get it and install then go here if you only have Studio 2017 installed:

    https://gateway.rws.com/csm?id=kb_article_view&sysparm_article=KB0010156

And here if you have Studio 2017 SR1 I'd recommend not taking CU6 just yet.  There will be a CU7 in due course.

    Regards
