Hi,
not sure how I managed it but my language pairs are now German (Germany) > English (United Kingdom), all good there, but also German (Germany) > English (Germany)!! I can't seem to delete the second pair from the project or in general. In "Project settings" the "Remove" button is greyed out.
Irritating rather than critical. Every project shows double the volume because two language pairs are configured.
Any ideas?

Thanks for your reply! I made a mistake when I installed SDL Trados 2019. Between the 5 languages i did not put french, how can I solve that. I am a beginner and I 'am not a pro of computer. Can you help me?
I already tried to re-setup the programme but the 5 languages are always registred...
Thank goodness Trados 2021 will remove this problem!
But for now, the best solution for you is to use this fix. It sounds complicated but is actually quite easy to do if you follow the steps carefully.

Hi Paul, I've tried removing a specific language pair (the wrong language direction for me) from File > Options. it removes it ok. But when I try to translate a single doc, the pair appears int he Translation Memory and Documents Settings Window, and also reappears on the list in File > Options. I'm using Trados Studio 2022 SR1 - 17.1.8.17828

That's because it's controlled in a different place for single documents. Look under File -> Options -> Editor -> Languages.

That's because when you use the single document workflow the pair you select will be automatically added to this list.
