Hi,
As illustrated in my recent post at https://community.sdl.com/solutions/language/translationproductivity/f/172/t/14096, looking for help with a French version of Trados may be hard, as most (if not all) forum posts are in English, and function names are not always easy to back-translate from French to English (for instance, “Correction des correspondances” made me think the English function name would be “Match Correction”, while the actual name is ““Match Repair”).
So, for specific functions I may have trouble with in my Canadian French version of Trados Studio 2017, does anybody know if a bilingual (or multilingual) lexicon exists, to help other language users find the proper English function names and applicable forum threads?
Also, is there indeed a parallel forum, or sub-forum, for discussing such matters in languages other than English (in my case, French)? That would greatly help find relevant information more quickly.
