How to export a dictionary database from Excel format into Trados

Hello everyone, 
 
 after creating a large dictionary database in Excel (.xlsx), I&rsquo;d like to export it into my Trados Studio 2017. In what way this could be done? How will this affect the Translation Memories? Thank you.

Do you want to import this into a Translation memory or use it as a termbase? Once you are clear on this here's how to do it: 
 
Import into a Translation Memory 
- Convert the glossary to a TMX and then import the TMX into your Translation Memory. These articles might help:

Use it as a termbase 
- convert the Excel using the Glossary Converter as mentioned above (but convert to an SDLTB instead of a TMX 
- use the Excel directly as a termbase: multifarious.filkin.com/.../
