Error after installing Studio 2017 Update: "file is encrypted or is not a database"

Question

I had a problem opening the Translation Memory view (which I just posted a question). 
 Because of that, I just installed the last updated suggested of Studio 2017. 
 When opening SDL again, it shows the following error (The translation memory data file engine returned an error: file is encrypted or is not a database) and it does not open at all! 
 
 HELLLP, I need to work!

Hi Daniela Mochny , did you also install the latest update for MultiTerm? You should do this too. Then, after updating do a reset of Studio and try again. Rename this folder (just add _old to the end or something, it's not important what you rename it to) and restart Studio: 
 
c:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\14.0.0.0

Trados Studio > 1. Trados Studio
