Does SDL Trados Studio 2017 include a way to deal directly with .AI files? Do you know if there's any new workaround on the subject than the one stated here.

Hi Damián Santilli ,

I'm only aware of the three on the appstore, and maybe this one using some kind of dynamic text variable export to XML:

Or you could use T-Windows for Clipboard:

multifarious.filkin.com/.../

Both of these require a copy of Adobe Illustrator, but if you have it maybe worth a look if you don't wish to pay for the apps.
