Error processing command line arguments

Hello,

I am unable to open any new project packages in Trados, this problem started happening yesterday and I hadn't made any updates to the software at that point. I have now downloaded the updates to see if that would fix the problem but it hasn't. I have read through other threads with this issue but they all seem to be about previous versions and the fixes don't work. I need to resolve this urgently as I cannot work. I am using Studio 2017 on Windows 10 and I have updated to the latest software release SR1. See below the error message that I am receiving, thank you!!

  • Hi Rachael Ellis (RachaelEllis),

Please try the following- as explained in a previous posting by @

    1) Close ALL SDL applications (including Multiterm etc)

    2) Go to C:\ProgramData\Package Cache\SDL\SDLTradosStudio2017_SR1\modules

    3) Run the WorldServerComponents.msi installation file.

    Kind regards

    Steve

  • Thank you Steve for your reply. Unfortunately, this has not resolved the issue, I now have a similar but different error message. I'm not sure why it is trying to access that folder, it doesn't appear to exist on my computer.. Are there any other options, I haven't been able to work for two days now. Thanks.
